A Year in Review - 2007

I read 68 books in 2007, which is 20 less than I read in 2006 (probably due to school). The books I read this past year were much higher quality than in 2006, and there were only 5 books that I couldn't finish.

Here are my best reads of the year (in no order):

1. A Thousand Splendid Suns - Khaled Hosseini (Fiction)
2. Ice Bound - Jerri Nielson (Non-Fiction)
3. The PuzzleBark Tree - Stephanie Gertler (Fiction)
4. Tipping the Velvet - Sarah Waters (Historical Fiction)
5. The Lake of Dead Languages - Carol Goodman (Fiction/Mystery)
6. Night - Elie Wiesel (Non-Fiction)
7. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows- JK Rowling (Young Adult)
8. The Kommandant's Girl - Pam Jenoff (Historical Fiction)
9. Day of Confession - Allan Folsom (Mystery)
10. Dragonfly in Amber - Diana Gabaldon (Historical Fiction)
11. An Ordinary Man - Paul Rusesabagina (Non-Fiction)
12. The Thirteenth Tale - Diane Setterfield (Fiction)
13. Outlander - Diana Gabaldon (Historical Fiction)
14. The Red Tent - Anita Diamant (Historical Fiction)
15. Striped Shirts and Flowered Pants - Barbara Schnurbush (Childrens)
