The Reversal

The Reversal by Michael Connelly
Mystery
Mickey Haller has been asked to work for the prosecution.  He answered yes with three stipulations: 1) that he work independently from the DA's office, 2) his co-counsel is his ex-wife Maggie and 3) his investigator is his step-brother Harry Bosch.

A convicted child killer, Jason Jessup has been granted a new trial based on DNA evidence.  Haller and company must keep this man in prison as we all know he is guilty.  However, Jessup has been released and is being the model citizen.  It is only a matter of time before he strikes again.

Another great mystery with lots of twists and turns.  I really liked how all three main characters (Mickey, Maggie and Harry) interacted.  It made for great reading.  Please bring them back for some more cases!

First Line: "The last time I'd eaten at the Water grill I sat across the table from a client who had coldly and calculatedly murdered his wife and her lover shooting them both in the face."
